Introduction:
The world will change and already has changed a lot with AI. This article will explore what AI might change in the future and related topics
Why is AI important:
AI is important as without it we wouldn’t have as advanced technology as we have today. When you type an essay how many times does autocorrect change a word? With AI we don’t have to spend ages making coherent speeches or write ups.AI is a fundamental block in our society.
What AI has changed:
Though we talk about AI in the upcoming future, we can’t neglect what it has already changed. Without auto correct we would have to manually check for punctuations, spellings and grammar, meaning pieces might be shorter and less detailed. Secondly without chat GPT or any other AI platforms, we wouldn’t be able to write detailed speeches or make followable plans and lists. Finally, without AI chat options in many online stores we would have to wait for a real human. That also might not be as reliable or fast, this is because AI is prepared for anything but a human won’t be.
What AI might change:
In the future AI might change a lot, for example, AI might have a mind of its own and not need to be programmed. This is actually scientifically proven to be possible. The singularity is the name for AI once it gets more powerful than humans. On a slightly less into the future note, robots. Many robots are already in society in places like Japan where you can get robot restaurants. A lot of robots use AI to be very adaptable and efficient. Robots are also more reliable and stronger than humans. That is why they will become as important as humans in upcoming times.
Is AI bad:
The problem is that some people think AI is bad, like environmental conservationists. They might think stuff related to AI uses fossil fuels. But AI only uses a minority of the world’s fossil fuels and the loss is less than the gain. Another group of people who dislike AI is teachers. While they use it to mark work and make examples, giving an A to a student who did none of it themselves is infuriating. As a result, the younger generation is less smart but only in the things they don’t need to be as smart in. Again the loss is less than the gain.
Conclusion:
I hope you enjoyed reading how AI is so important and how it will change in the future.
