OUTDOORS

On my gaming console, I'm about to beat the game

Until my parents snatch it away

They say, go outside and play

Doom awaits, I'm going to die!

On second thoughts, I can take my device out too

On the patio, I can game in natural light

Rising sun, setting sun, I'm outside holding my console tight

So I guess, on second thoughts, maybe the dreaded outside isn't so bad after all!

Italy

Pizza, pasta, gelato every single day

Public transport is a roller-coaster, woohoo yay!

The colosseum big and proud

But the shops around rather small

Whatever you call it, quiet, loud

Italy's got it all

Roman Forum, the Leaning Tower of Pisa, Palatine Hill, and so much more

Venice's gondolas, Murano glass, and that's not even all

Pompeii, Ercolano and Vesuvius, a stunning trio

But shirts for 79 euros, high, low, Italy has it all!

Model City

My model city is the most wondrous place

To spend time when the days go dull

If a volcano explodes a town vanishes without trace

The houses and the people everyone

The Houses of Parliament are cardboard boxes

The Shard plastic not glass

But a countryside house , straw left out for the foxes

Is right next to all the fun

If you walk a minute you also see

The Burj Khalifa's tip

The model city is my second favourite place to be

My first is my TV!
